Abby Elliott
Abby Elliott
(born June 16 in 1987) is an American comedian and actress who was a member of
Saturday Night Live from 2008 until 2012. She has also been a part of the Bravo
comedy Odd Mom Out and the NBC sitcom Indebted. She is the daughter of
actor/comedian Chris Elliott. Elliott was the second of two children and was
born in New York City. Elliott is the daughter of Paula Niedert a talent
coordinator and comedian/actress Chris Elliott. Her grandfather was a radio
comedian Bob Elliott. Her younger sister is actress Bridey Elliott. Both were
born in Wilton, Connecticut. She was a student at Immaculate High School
Danbury, Connecticut where she played the role of an actor in school plays and
musicals. She graduated from Immaculate High School, Connecticut in 2005. But,
she left Marymount Manhattan College during her first semester. In the year
2010, Elliott was in a relationship with Fred Armisen who was a Saturday Night
Live cast member. The couple split in September 2011. On September 3 in 2016,
Elliott tied the knot with Bill Kennedy, a television writer. Edith Pepper
Kennedy was born to them. Elliott learned about comedy at The Groundlings, and
then began performing and training for various sketch comedy shows at Upright
Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB), Los Angeles.
