 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the United States is an actress comedian, activist, and actress. After emigrating to America she was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her career began as a child actor. She is best known for her appearances in AT&T commercials on television. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and 2020 (since 2020 (from). Apart from commercial appearances, she also appeared as a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015). Also, she was a regular on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). Vayntrub has also been the voice of Squirrel girl on Marvel Rising since 2018, after she was cast in the TV pilot that was never aired New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents, who were both just two years old, emigrated to America to escape antisemitism. They moved to West Hollywood. At the age of five, she began appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to the economic hardships in her family. Vayntrub was a student at Beverly Hills High School briefly and then was kicked out of the school during her sophomore year. She then obtained an GED and earned the Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. She studied improv with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
