Jacques Bermon Webster I, born April 30, 1990, more commonly called Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott) is a popular American musician and rapper. His stage name is a combination of the name of a favorite uncle as well as the stage name of Kid Cudi (whose real names are Scott Mescudi and Scott Mescudi) and it is his first major label deal with Epic Records. Scott also signed a publishing contract with Kanye's GOOD Music. He signed a joint recording agreement with Epic Records and T.I. in April 2013. He has signed with Epic and T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut album Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in 2013. In 2013, Scott released his first full-length mixtape, Owl Pharaoh. It was then immediately followed by Days Before Rodeo. Rodeo (2015) was the first studio album by the artist. The single that became a hit "Antidote" was the lead track. The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first album to top the charts on the Billboard 200. Scott's second album, called Birds in the Trap: Sing McKnight (2016) was a collaboration with Quavo. The album was called Huncho Jack Huncho and featured his debut Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode" which featured Drake. In the latter part of 2019, Scott's record label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. After the single "Franchise", Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it was a top hit on the Billboard 200. Scott was the first rapper to make it to first place on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than one year.
